How to start with Cathoven IELTS

Cathoven IELTS is built for Writing and Speaking practice. You can start in a few minutes and you do not need to pay or add a card to try it.

1. Create your account

1. Go to the Cathoven IELTS website
2. Click Sign up
3. Choose Sign up with email or Continue with Google
4. Follow the steps on screen to finish creating your account

Every new account starts on the Free plan automatically.

This video shows you how to sign up, find the main sections, and start your first Writing and Speaking practice.

3. Start with Writing

1. Open the Writing section from the menu
2. Choose an IELTS Writing option, for example Academic Task 1 or Academic Task 1 and Task 2
3. Write your answer in the text box
4. Click Submit to get your score and feedback

You can see all your past Writing reports and scores in the Reports section.

4. Start with Speaking

1. Open the Speaking section from the menu
2. Choose which part you want to practise, for example Part 2
3. Allow microphone access if your browser asks
4. Speak your answer for the task you selected
5. Finish the recording to receive your score and feedback

Your Speaking reports also appear in Reports, so you can review them later.

5. Free and Premium plans

You can use Cathoven on the Free plan with a limited number of Writing and Speaking reports each week. If you need more practice, you can upgrade to a Premium plan at any time.
